Garry Nelson Jr.(Geb)

son of Garry Nelson Sr., has worked in all aspects of the company.  He joined the team in 2002.  As the son of a contractor he has had many opportunities to learn the building trade first hand. His area of expertise is in the larger commercial designs. Outside of design, he handles day-to-day operations including manufacturing and delivery.  His eye for detail and knowledge of the industry make him a strong leader.

Sheldon Hyde

came to Aroostook Trusses in 2004.  He graduated from the drafting program at Northern Maine Technical College in Presque Isle Maine in 1993.  After graduating from NMTC he worked designing logging trailers before migrating to one of the local hardware stores. He also designs houses under the name of “The Design Guy” which is now under Aroostook Truss’s umbrella of services.  Sheldon’s out of the box thinking makes him our choice for high-end residential design.  Sheldon is now commuting between our Presque Isle office and his home in Augusta as he now covers the Southern part of the state.

Shawn Lizotte

began working at Aroostook Trusses in 2006. Shawn came to us from a local retail chain.  Shawn graduated from the drafting program at Northern Maine Technical College in Presque Isle Maine in 1999.  He did heating, ventilation and air conditioning design after graduating for one summer and “As-built” design work the following summer.  He has designed waste water disposal systems in conjunction with a local soils engineer from his home since 2000.  His IT knowledge has been a great asset to the company.
